Sports hall

One of the defining new features of the campus is a boiler and warehouse building constructed on the site in the second half of the 20th century. Although significantly larger than the neighboring buildings, it aligns with the building and gable lines of Kossuth Street. This was achieved architecturally by recessing the main volume into the ground and shaping the street-facing facade with two asymmetrical gable roofs. A deliberate contrast in materials and details was created through the use of expansive glass and wood surfaces, projecting a modern interior fully adapted to contemporary needs.
