Description
Until now, the area has had an industrial character. The proposed concept aims to elevate and connect the site to the Gatesint promenade. Without this connection, the area would remain isolated, unable to engage in a meaningful dialogue with either the industrial zone or the dam, effectively trapped as a foreign enclave between two contrasting environments — industrial and promenade. By emphasizing the site and linking it to the promenade level, the area is given new value. On the side facing Hunyadi út, the difference in elevation must be addressed, and a solution is proposed accordingly.
The development will comprise 324 apartments distributed across three blocks. The typical units are two-room flats of approximately 48 m². Larger, more sophisticated apartments will be constructed in the first phase. Retail and service spaces will occupy the ground floors of all three blocks. To accommodate parking needs, two underground levels will provide the required number of parking spaces.
